I had so much fun making this card!! I love the color combination of orange and hot pink and the latest Stampin' Up! Designer Paper is right-up my alley... Now, I have to admit that I made this card for the Mojo Monday challenge last week and then my 4 year-old got sick and I never got to post it--DRAT!! Oh well, there's always next time :-)Recipie~
I began with "Raspberry Lemonade" DP from Stampin' Up! --and you just can't go wrong with it!! I stamped the Elephant image from Animal Stories and mounted it on the purple dottd paper...Next, I used more DP for a strip of distressed orange--a fun shabby touch made with paper instead of ribbon! Primas with Dew Drop centers and distress inking finish off the front. The sentiment is from SU's "Short & Sweet" set and is stamped on the same distressed orange DP and framed with SU's Hodgepodge Hardware. Inside, a fun "ball" awaits, courtesy of Circle Circus...such a sweet, shabby card in bright summer colors!!!
